Nursing Services

To meet the nursing needs of the residents, the facility provides 24 licensed nursing services. The nursing department is managed by a director of nursing. Each resident has a primary RN case manager, LPN and Nursing Assistant. Each shift has a licensed nurse on duty. Nursing Assistants are certified and required to have 75 hours of classroom time.

 Our nursing home develops a comprehensive plan of care for each resident. This comprehensive plan of care is developed by an interdisciplinary team that includes the attending physician, a RN, social worker, activity and dietary personnel. We encourage participation of our residents and their legal guardian or chosen representative in the care planning process. Care conferences are scheduled and held on a quarterly basis. Additional conferences are held to address special problems, discharges or changing conditions.
